Hello From Cheryl . . . . .
Fall will be here September 22. Bow season has already started. And if you haven’t noticed I have added a few new pages to the menu bar at the top of the screen. Please check them out, I think there is some great help for the outdoor sportsmen.
The CALL Leadership Program is underway. Well, guess what? I am actually a participant in the program as a student. Hoping to learn a lot from this experience to increase my leadership with the chamber as well as to be knowledgeable for citizens in our area who may be interested in the program. Our next event is regarding Education and has been planned by Ashley White and Jody Norwood in October.
Our next Eclipse 2017 meeting will be October 12, 2016, 10:00 am at the Lee S. Jones building. Anyone interested in finding out the progress being made concerning this major event is welcome to attend. Several have plans in place and still more are yet to be organized. Several hotels and local campgrounds are already booked for that weekend and I believe all the Land Between the Lakes campgrounds are also booked solid. I hope to have a page listed in our menu to provide information as we go along. If you want to use some of your land space for viewing sites, please let me know, so I can list this for anyone wishing to reserve a spot.
